PRACTICING GRATITUDE AND MINDFULNESS- In this great hustle and bustle, people are actually forgetting what life was all about.
Life was never about rushing to the offices in the morning, life was not about STRESSING, life was not about ANXIETY, life was not about OVERTHINKING and life was not about just BEING SAD all the time, life was not about BEING UNGRATEFUL.
Instead, life was about kindness, life was about GRATITUDE, It was about CALMNESS! And we need to realise this.
In this era where people make it a great deal being busy, where we don’t even have time for ourselves, we need to really realise that it’s high time that we take out and make the 25th hour of the day for ourselves and start practicing gratitude and mindfulness.
Which is certainly not possible! What we can do is to plan our day and manage our time such that we have the 24th hour where we practice gratitude and mindfulness.
What is practicing GRATITUDE and MINDFULNESS?

Practicing gratitude and mindfulness is the peaceful process of being THANKFUL for whatever we have, is being GRATEFUL for whatever we retain and BEING CONTENT and satisfied with whatsoever is happening around.

Being mindful is the process of complete thinking of our actions and introspecting what we are to do next.
These days people really take decisions in such a hurry without practicing any mindfulness and get themselves in the shoes of troubles.

Practicing gratitude and mindfulness sure is not a hard task but requires consistency. Being thankful one day and being thankless the other are not going to work.
Sure you are going to have your own moods (and their swings) but if you really want practicing gratitude and mindfulness to work, you have to be consistent with this.

Okay, I know covid-19 is going on [still in 2021] and you can’t go out but still you can just close down your phone for a moment and look outside your window.
See how that bird is flying, see how that airplane just went by, recognise the cloud’s shape, see what colour the sky is today!
Rejoice with the nature. Nature has made us and is the most beautiful thing in the world. NATURE IS WORLD.
2. Get your best friend– A Gratitude Journal!
A best friend is someone who knows all your ups and downs.
And a gratitude journal is something which has all your positivity. Just imagine looking at a journal and already feeling positive!
This is something you need in your life. Write down every positive aspect of your day every night when you sit down and relax.
This is what I do. A person may not know all of me but my journal does- Practicing gratitude and mindfulness Does has it’s effects!
3. Stay Away From Negative Content!
In order to stay thankful and practice gratitude, the one thing you must realise is you should stay as far from negativity as you can.
The content you watch describes yourself. If you watch negative content your outlook is supposed to be negative.
Watching positive content is the only way to make your heart a temple of positivity.
4. Live the Downs that come across and Come up with them – practicing gratitude and mindfulness taught me this.
If ever life would have been easier!
But now since we are born as humans, and we have to live a human life filled with difficulties, challenges, all the ups and downs, sadness, crying, judgements, taunts and everything.
What we have to do and what we can do in order to practice gratitude among these sad situations, start embracing them. What ever people have to say about you.
But at the same time, don’t care what people are saying. They say all those things because they can never be you.
You are an amazing personality, a unique person and a personality that the people who are judging you, the challenges that come across your way, can ever not become!
Always embrace your challenges that come along and grow with them and fight them!

Practicing affirmations is one of the best way to practice gratitude towards yourself, nature, universe and your life.
You can start your day with the simple “I love my life.” and end it with “I am grateful that I lived this whole day.” These small things go a long way.

When you start practicing mindfulness, your brain works more efficiently and becomes calm, reducing your anxiety levels panic attacks, and makes your soul smile.

WHO does not like to sleep? EVERYBODY does. And when it comes to me, I love sleeping.
But when my mind is not at all at peace, I can’t sleep at nights. This is one of the benefits of NOT practicing mindfulness.
3. Well, who doesn’t want a good mental health? We have mindfulness to the rescue!
Have you ever gone through the phase where you don’t know what to do?
The phase where you don’t have anybody to talk to or you feel alone, you are overthinking alot!
Well if not, good for you congratulations! But if you are currently going through this phase, SAY NOT ANYMORE!
Start practicing mindfulness is the key to stop all these things. What you need is a bit of patience and consistency as I already said.
4. Whoops! Who’s that so creative?
When you are practicing mindfulness properly and you have everything cleared out and sorted out, your creativity from the right path comes out. Practicing Mindfulness helps you discover yourself which is greater than anything else!
When your mind is calm and composed, greater ideas come to your mind. Better ideas come into your mind and your soul and whole body is a place for creativity.

When you are practicing mindfulness correctly, your mind is at peace as I already said a lot of times. When your mind is at total peace, you start enjoying your own company. You start becoming self sufficient! Now if you need an expert advice, you can just simply consult your peaceful mind!
Your charm is different, your Self confidence is on point, you glow different, you vibe different when you’re mentally calm and healthy!

1. Have your own 1 hour.
So it should better not be at sometime when you are busy in some of your own chores. Have separate time for practicing mindfulness so that you don’t have to hurry and rush for anything!
2. Allow yourself to Be Free and Just be a Soul.
Allow yourself to be just a soul in the universe. Allow yourself to not be somebody, and just a part of nature. Embrace it and use your thoughts to discover, to rejuvenate, to rejoice. Enjoy the calmness and the Beauty of mindfulness.
when you are practicing mindfulness you are not supposed to be someone who has an identity.
practice mindfulness by just being a soul who wants peace (not that I am saying that you are ghost… but come on! Understand the gravity of what’s written.)
3. Observe what your actions, thoughts, words and motivation are saying.
Practicing mindfulness is one of the most joyous things you could ever do which will do good to you, your mind and your body.
When you start practicing mindfulness, you start observing.
So, observe what your actions are telling you, what your motivations say about you and what you thoughts describe.
- Try to observe what your thoughts are telling about what kind of a person you are.
- What are the things that motivate you?
- Are you even motivated or not?
- Do you have an ambition
- What kind of words, language or slangs you use in your daily life?
- can you be improved?
- can anything be improved?
4. Be In The Present
This is one of my favourite quotes of all time. When you think about it a little deeply you realise that this moment is actually my and your life.
We don’t know what is going to happen to us the very next moment and where we are going to be!
So why do we waste our present thinking about what mistakes were made in the past?For what better answer we could have given in an argument?
This is not how things work out we have to own it. We got to make the deal!
5. Be Comfortable – Don’t stress and be easy!
When you’re practicing gratitude and mindfulness, you have to go easy on yourself.
You don’t have to make yourself uncomfortable what ever the situation may.
Practicing gratitude and mindfulness are to suit yourself and not to make yourself feel bad in any sense.
So why you are doing this, while you are practicing gratitude, while you are practicing mindfulness always be comfortable don’t stress it out.
Let it go easy on yourself. After all you are doing it for your own sake.
5. Sit straight, Stay Relaxed!
While you’re practicing mindfulness for yourself it is really important that you choose the right position to sit.
Don’t slouch while you sit when you’re practicing gratitude and mindfulness.
The best way to sit while you practice gratitude and mindfulness is to sit straight and then at the same time to sit and be relaxed.
The only difference between while making a first good impression and choosing to be someone who always makes a good first impression is your habits. It is the Vibe you surround yourself with.
This is how first impressions also work right?

Along with practicing gratitude and mindfulness there are several other habits you should adopt for betterment of your own.
What you have to do is to also take care of yourself.
of what you are doing, of what kind of food your eating, what type of content you are making yourself getting involved with. Basically take full care of yourself and make sure that along with practicing gratitude and mindfulness, you are also not letting negativity around yourself.
Focus on how you are going to improve yourself and how you are going to make yourself a better person to be around.
Meditation is a wonderful way by which you can keep your soul and body together so that they don’t go the different way.
Start Doing Yoga
Yoga has been working wonders for people since ages and for ages it will keep on working wonders like that.
It is US us who need to realise the true potential that lies behind yoga. A simple Pranayam will do a lot of Good to you. So, start practicing yoga.
Stop Over thinking.
So, one of the major reasons why your mind and body need positivity can be because of your overthinking. The thing may not even exist!
Pen it Down!
This is one of the most recurring thing I say and I can bet I will keep on saying you to write down everything that comes to your mind in what ever way.
Talk And Express!
What actually happens is, that thing starts disturbing you and your mental peace silently.
And brain says “STOP IT!”
so what I’ll suggest you to do is to talk to someone who genuinely cares about you and is there for not just the sake of formality.
Stop Complaining and Comparing.
Once you stop complaining about the things that you don’t have and the things that others have, your life becomes easier and less disturbing. So stop complaining and stop comparing what you have versus what the other has, things become a lot of easier for you and your mind.
Rather focus on what you have and how you can improve yourself. How you can be better than you were yesterday, and how can you be better tomorrow than today!
